1. Hit WinterFest in Hartford, CT
Head to Winterfest Hartford in Bushnell Park and skate for free! Bring your own skates or rent a pair of ours for free.
The rink is open daily, 11 am to 8 pm through January 5, with the following exceptions: 12/24, 11 am - 4 pm; 12/25, closed; 12/31, 11 am - 9 pm; and 1/1, 11 am - 4 pm.

2. Visit the Winter Lantern Festival at Lyman Orchards
We’re excited to announce that the Winter Lantern Festival is at Lyman Orchards this year! This festival, which began in New York in 2018, has brought joy to thousands of visitors. Each festival features a unique set of stunning handmade Chinese lanterns in a gorgeous nightwalk setting. This festive experience is perfect for the whole family! 3. Tree Lighting Ceremonies in several towns!
New Britain: Come on down to the heart of New Britain, for the Annual Tree lighting ceremony and event. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be there riding in style on a firetruck. Pictures with Santa will also be possible on the Patio of The Assembly Room. Local vendors will be on site for an opportunity to shop. Free to Attend. 227 Main St, New Britain CT 06051.
Wethersfield: Join the Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce along with the Town of Wethersfield as we present the 14th Annual Holidays on Main on Thursday, December 5 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm along beautiful Main St in Old Wethersfield.
