10 Healthy Snacks Kids Will Love

As we kick off a new year, and begin to make goals for ourselves and our families. As parents we find ourselves looking for fun, creative and easy ways to help improve healthier eating habits for our kids. 

Here are 10 of my great ideas to help get you started this year:

1. Fruit kabobs

Simply cut up a variety of fruits and skewer them on a stick for a fun and colorful snack.

2. Homemade trail mix or granola

Allow kids to mix together their favorite nuts, seeds, and dried fruit for a healthy and satisfying snack.

This is a classic that still satisfies: Spread peanut butter on celery sticks and top with raisins.

4. Yogurt parfait 

Layer yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit in a clear glass for a pretty, delicious, and healthy snack.

5. Smoothie bowls

Blend together your child's favorite fruits and veggies and then serve in a bowl with toppings like granola, coconut flakes, and chia seeds.
