Here it comes, February! Let the L-O-V-E Fest begin!
Now before we get all candied up and sugar crazy, let's begin with the greatest little sweethearts we have been gifted: Our Kids!
Valentine's can be very strongly poised to Romantic Love, but it is also about Friendships and Family. So let's focus on the little beings that bring light into our daily lives. I began this tradition I am sharing with you all a few years ago, and it really made my kids SMILE every morning as they saw new "reasons" I loved them pop up on their bedroom doors.
The Challenge:
Beginning on February 1st: Add a Paper heart with a "Reason you love your child" written on it . (The heart can be any size you like big/small assorted sizes up to you!)
My goal is to put the hearts up when I know they are asleep in bed, so when they wake (even if it is before me) the new reason is there for them to find.
I find using an assortment of colors makes it fun, to spot the new heart.
